What locals actually do in a jingisukan place
The first problem in a jingisukan place is the smell. Mutton fat turns to smoke and stays in your clothes for the rest of the day, whatever you are wearing.
The second is timing. In lavender season the Furano places fill at noon. Arrive by 11:40, or push lunch to 13:30 — that half hour is the difference between no queue and forty minutes. Whoever is driving: the beer waits until the hotel.
